Just to help isolate the issue further, we'd like to see if the "If you can't hear any sound or if only one side of your headphones works" part of the following page helps: If your headphones don't work with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If your Beats appear to be disconnecting temporarily when the issue occurs, there's some additional information here that may be helpful as well: If the sound from your wireless headphones cuts out or is distorted
