how do I move my contact list from my iphone to icloud?

If you have contacts enabled in iCloud all your iPhone contacts should be there. To enable that go into Settings > Click your name at the top of settings > tap iCloud > then make sure Contacts is turned on and the button is green.

I have this question too. My contact list in icloud is ancient, and does not reflect what I have on my phone.
