My Apple home hub won't stay connected to my Apple TV
my apple home hub won't stay connected to my Apple TV. It does for a while then switches to one of my HomePods. How do I make it stay with the Apple TV?

Homepods automatically become Home Hubs. As you know, the devices that are connected or on standby can be viewed in the Home app settings (click on the house icon).
Unfortunately this list can't be used to turn a device on or off. Maybe give feedback to Apple?

Took me a whole afternoon to straighten it out. The HomeKit app would just not recognize it when I held the ATV in the scan crosshairs. Eventually, left my bluetooth enabled iPad standing directly in front of ATV scanning, spinning away. 15, 20 minutes later it finally zeroed in and my ATV addition to HomeKit was finally initiating.
As long as one of the hubs is connected, it doesn’t matter which ones are ‘standby’ and which one is ‘connected’.
