i am not receiving iMessages it says that an error occurred and that my iCloud was logged out from imessages. I went to the settings and my iMessages are turned on. On send & receive iMessages it says waiting for activation and does not allow me to click my phone number.

Did you happen to switch the sim car or anything? Also maybe try and see what your iCloud storage capacity is and if there is enough room to connect iMessage through iCloud. Let me know if you still are having issues and I can look into it further.
I am not receiving iMessages my messages can only be sent and received as text messages
