Hello,

So if you want to reset you MacBook You can hold Command + R keys when the Mac is booting up to enter recovery mode, from there you click disk utilities, wipe the disk that stores Mac OS, and then go back and click on Install Mac OS.

now if you want an older version of macOS Hold Shift + Option + Command + R Keys to install the older version compatible with you Mac, then follow these steps: when the Mac is booting up to enter recovery mode, from there you click disk utilities, wipe the disk that stores Mac OS, and then go back and click on Install Mac OS.

and finally, if you want the newest version available hold Option-Command-R to restore to the newest version available then follow these steps: when the Mac is booting up to enter recovery mode, from there you click disk utilities, wipe the disk that stores Mac OS, and then go back and click on Install Mac OS.
