bluetooth keyboard issue

My type+ wireless keyboard for my ipad air 2 will not work. Turned off bluetooth and tried reconnecting. No help. selected "forget this device", then reconnecting, no help. What is wrong? Thanks

bluetooth Ipad pro Bought a bluetooth keyboard for my Ipad pro. It connected perfectly then suddenly stopped working. When I try to reconnect it takes me shutting off the Ipad and the keyboard and even then there will be some lag. Do I just need to buy the apple keyboard for it to work? Trying to go a cheaper route but that may be my issue
