Will my Magic keyboard work on the new iPad Pro 5th gen 12.9?

Sorry no, since the thickness of the new iPad Pro 12.9 M1-2021 is slightly greater.

This new one is backwards compatible with iPad Pro 12.9 4th & 3rd generations (but not viceversa).

Check out YouTube videos from users who have final gotten and reviewed their new Mini LED 12.9 inch iPad Pros and tested their previous model Magic Keyboards.

It works and works and closes fine, as long as you iPad Pro is NOT using a thick glass screen protector.

I only reported what Apple says on its accessories compatibility with iPad 5th gen (see the link to the page I already posted).

I'm just a user like you, not aware of different opportunities (and I can't make any test, since I have neither an iPad Pro 12.9" 5th generation, nor a Magic Keyboard, sorry).
