How can I backup my iPad if it’s dead and not charging before I bring it in for service?

It is too late for that.
Your iPad is dead ( NO power ) and stop charging.
You're out of luck.
Your data maybe lost.
Should have been regularly/semi-regularly backing up the data on that dead iPad well before this happened.
