I’m getting this message: Airplay is unavailable No TVs with AirPlay were found nearby

When I want to mirror something on my tv from my phone, I get this message now ...

“Airplay is unavailable No TVs with AirPlay were found nearby”

Are your iPhone and Apple TV on the same home network (for Wi-Fi: with the same SSID network name)?

What service/content provider were you trying to AirPlay? Some services require AirPlay 2 devices, which Apple TV (3rd generation) is not.
