Updating apps

Updating apps in iPhone 11 - the wheel just spins. Not downloading. Have tried the steps advised by Apple. To no avail


Help please!

If the first 5 don't help, use the 6th.


Considerations:

Do you have the same problem when using a different Wi-Fi network?

Does restarting your device make any change?

Can you download apps normally on another device?

I did steps 1-5 several times. Went to step 6 - which is this thread.


I turned off WiFi and attempted update on mobile network. Prompt asks if you want to download using mobile data or wait for WiFi connection. I selected wait.


Once WiFi switched back on, the download starts.


So the routine becomes:


Select “Update all” in AppStore

Turn off wifi on iphone

Select “download later with Wifi” when prompted

Turn WiFi back on
