why does it say I have active subscriptions when I do not?

When I try to update my credit card information to a different card (old card expired and I switched banks), it says "update payment information". So I try to delete my old card, but it says I have an active subscription. I go to the subscriptions, and there is nothing. I go to add the new card, and it keeps on saying "can not add card, update payment information". what gives?
