Reinstall keynote
Is there a way to reinstall keynote on el capitan if you accidentally deleted it? The app store is not allowing me to install it because the os is not updated and I don't want to update the os. Thanks for any help.

The current (10.3.9) version of Keynote requires Catalina or Big Sur. That requirement could change to Big Sur or later with any future update to Keynote.
I have been running Big Sur 11.2.3 on an M1 mini and a 2014 MacBook Air with 4GB RAM, and both have been rock-solid experiences.
No, Keynote is not part of the OS.
Did you visit the App Store as suggested ?
Is it listed in your Purchased Page of the App Store.
You intimated that you already had it but deleted it.
Is that not the case?
Sign into the App Store and go to your purchased page.
Do you see Keynote listed there? Does it say Install ?
It may offer you a version that is compatible with the OS that you are using now.
Only from your Time Machine backup. No other means to obtain it.
Thanks for the response. That’s too bad to hear. Do you know what the lowest os I can use to install keynote from the App Store is? Would like to avoid Big Sur if possible.
Do you know if El Capitan comes with keynote. I’m wondering if I can just reinstall the os and get it back like that.
