When using PHOTO app on my MacBook Pro, I will search for "Cars" with the intent of finding only the photos I have added "Cars" as a key word. Unfortunately, I also get every picture that may have a car(s) in the image no matter what Keyword is assigned to those photos. It is maddening!! How do I search ONLY for Keywords? Is there a way to turn off the auto-identify function that is running?

Hi - If you search for a word, you get all matches at the top, but if you scroll down, you get the matches for only keywords. Here I've searched for "sheep"
At the bottom of the screenshot, I can double click on the one picture under keyword to show all images with that keyword. (This is on Catalina)

Create a Smart album
Use Keyword is Cars
This will create a smart album in which the keyword assigned was Cars

Thank you! I just needed to dig a bit further and your suggestion got me there. Now I am able to update titles and keywords and shift albums much fast - only 43,000+ photos to go!!
