Mac OS High Sierra USB Boot

I am currently using my 2020 iMac running Big Sur and want to repair my 2007 iMac running High Sierra.

Can I create a USB Bootable drive from my New iMac to aid me in fixing my Old iMac?

Old Software on a Newish iMac I am currently running a 2017 iMac (High Sierra 10.13.6). I have a 2008 Mac Pro (El Capitan 10.11.6) with some old software I'd like to continuing using. Can I remove the startup disk from the 2008 Mac Pro and connect it to my iMac and run the old software? Would I need to boot the iMac from the Mac Pro startup disk for it work? Is it safe to do that?

creating a bootable usb by software hi, my iMac just missed out of the latest macOS upgrade, its a late 2014 iMac model. if say in 2 - 3 years time I need to restore my iMac to factory settings by using internet recover(command+r) on boot, after I erase hard drive and try to reinstall MacOS BigSur, I don't think it will present me with BigSur installer file although never tried yet. so I'm going down the route creating a bootable USB, when search online, all that comes up is creating by going into terminal and writing a load of code etc. this method is too complicated for me, so what the best program/app paid/free that will do the job for me? thanks in advance

How to create a El Capitan bootable drive from the InstallMacOSX.dmg? I have an old iMac that has broken System. I need to erase and reinstall the complete software. I have complete erased the drive. First I've tried to use the Restore option from web, but it didn't worked. So, I've downloaded Mac OS El Capitan from Apple official web site. It's an image called InstallMacOSX.dmg inside there is a InstallMacOSX.pkg I need to make a bootable USB, to make a fresh install on this computer. To make this I'm using a MacBook Pro Retina Early 2015 running macOS Big Sur. How can I do it?

You can't download High Sierra to a 2020 iMac. You need access to a Mac old enough that could run High Sierra in order to download a copy.

Just to add, High Sierra isn't supported on a 2007 iMac.
