Can't download Quicken on my iMac
I am trying to download quicken on my iMac and it will not let me I have Mac OS version 10.12.6 what can I do

Based on a quick rummage, it appears that the current Quicken app requires Big Sur (11), or either of the two previous macOS versions—Mojave 10.14, and Catalina, 10.15.
Your particular iMac may or may not support a version of macOS past macOS 10.13. Available upgrades vary by iMac model year. Post the model year, and we'll be able to answer that.

Have a backup.
Upgrades to Catalina 10.15 require all of your apps be 64-bit, and you can use Go64 to identify those. You'll need to upgrade or migrate or retire older 32-bit apps, replacing those with 64-bit apps. As an example of these older apps, Microsoft Office 2011 and earlier are 32-bit and will not work on Catalina and later. You will need Office 2016, the current Office 2019, the current Office 365 subscription, or the upcoming Office 2021, or a migration to the free LibreOffice app, or Apple iWork apps which can read and write many Office documents. This 64-bit app migration started a decade or so ago with 10.5, and finished with 10.15.
