How can I get rid of an unwanted 2nd page? I have changed the bottom margin, scooted the text up, yet still it lingers

Go to the view menu. Choose Show invisibles.

You'll see a blue dot between every pair of words on the page, and several other blue characters.

Any of these occurring after the end of the text or trailing over to the extra page would be the likely cause of the 'extra' page.

Thanks very much for that tip, Barry. Showing the Invisibles did reveal all the spacing and para coding marks. There was one that looked like a blue map pin at the top of the unwanted page that I couldn't get to budge. So I went back to the main page and moved the text blocks up until it pulled itself back onto the main page and, voila -- no more extra page! Without your info, I would not have been able to "see" what the problem was. Thanks again!
