I have a very similar issue, have the same message as above but verified with my bank that the card on file is active yet it will not let me delete it because I have a subscription and it won't let me re-enter it as it says the card has been denied.
how do you reach apple directly to clear this up, the email I was sent say do not reply to it, what will they do next if I do nothing as I only have the one card and it is active, nothing has changed but when they tried to charge it they say it was denied.
