Are you sure the usb connection is for connecting to a sequencer to send and receive midi notes rather than transferring internal sounds into nord stage?
Did you find anything written in the manual?
Did you try the (old school) midi out connection via midi interface?

Hey, how is your connection between Nord and Logic Pro? What version of macOS and Logic are you using?
I'm using a MacBookPro Big Sur v. 11.2.1
Logic Pro v.10.6.1
I've looked through the manual for clues but nothing has worked. I've turned local on and off but nothing changes.
Hey, can you describe how is your connection between Nord and Logic? are you using it as a midi controller? are you recording the stereo out into an interface?
I’m using a simple USB connection. All I want is to play the Nord and record a piano part in Logic or Finale
Hey yoyoBen,
Your idea worked. I hooked up the midi connections through an M-Audio interface and voila, sound and ability to record.
Thanks
