when i receive a text, it comes in as an IMessage. How do i correct that

If you have iMessage turned off, then nobody is sending an iMessage. If it can't be received as an iMessage then its not sent as an iMessage, its just sent as an SMS.


They may of course be fine with it, or be completely unaware it is happening.


As to iMessage options, its free, it does not use your SMS allotment if you have any. So again I ask what possible reason could there be to not want to use iMessage?

I should have worded that better. I did know that it is not sent as an iMessage. What I meant was that those people who have iMessage turned on can send me a message with no issues.


I don't have any SMS/MMS limits. I don't have any reason to not use iMessage; I also don't have any reason to use iMessage. But that would change if you (or anyone) wanted to send me some Apple Cash!
