My iPhone 6 will not automatically update to the latest 14.4 version.
I tried to update the software for my iPhone to the latest version 14.4 but when my iPhone checks automatically for updates it only update to iOS 12.5.1 - what should I do?

your phone is up to date. it does not have the required hardware to go any further.

The iPhone 6 can not be updated beyond iOS 12.5.1.
What should you do?
Nothing. That's completely normal. Your phone is obsolete. it can't run anything higher.
If you want or need iOS 14, buy a newer phone.
