What are you doing with the AirPods when this occurs? Can you explain a little more about what you are doing?
I have the AirPods on listening to a bingo game so I can hear the numbers being called and if I raise up my wrist like to check the time or anything, the sound goes away for maybe 10 seconds
Are you listening to the game on the Watch, or on another iOS device, and are the AirPods paired to the Watch or the other device?
Do you have Siri "Raise to Speak" turned on?
Sounds like that is what's happening.
iPhone>Watch>Siri>Raise to Speak>
You may want to toggle that off.
