My internal microphone is not working. It doesn't pick up any sound on the blue bars, my input volume is on max and I have already reset the PRAM to try and fix it. It just completely doesn't work or register anything. Help? I really need my mic for zoom university classes.

Try to run Apple Diagnostics if it reports sound hardware related issues(VFF001, VFF002, and VFF003)

If it's a hardware issue, try to get USB microphone which is compatible with macOS and the applications you need to use.
