Apple Care Protection

Happy New Year

I am interested in purchasing an iPad Air and would like to add the Apple Care Protection later. Is this possible?

Yes, it’s possible - but the option to do so is time limited.

AppleCare+ cover, if not included at point of purchase, must be added within 60 days.

If AppleCare+ cover is added from iPad Settings (where it will be visible while your iPad qualifies), it will need to pass a remote functional test. Otherwise, you can add coverage by visiting your local Apple Store with your iPad - where, prior to acceptance, your iPad will be tested and visually inspected for damage.

You are not addressing any Apple employees, teams or sales personnel here.

You have signed up into a largely Apple product customer/user to user technical support community.

We are mostly Apple Product customers/users, just like you.

You can either order an iPad directly from this part of the Apple Website

iPad - Apple

OR, you can contact Apple sales by phone at 1-800-MYAPPLE or contact call your nearest, “local” Apple Store location and see what they can do for you in being able to purchase an iPad and AppleCare+ from that local Apple store location, or not.

Best of Luck to You!
