Contacts will not sync to my iPhone

My IPhone Xs will not sync my contacts correctly from iCloud and it has now started to delete contacts I have added to supplement the sync issues.

**Please do not simply say "Hey try this apple page!" I have done them all, if you don't know don't take a stab at it**

What I have done.

1) Updated my MacBook and iPhone to the most up to date software

2) Fully reset my iPhone (twice in a month)

3) Added the contacts I am missing by sending the contact to my phone but the phone will delete them in a few weeks

4) I have done pretty much all the Apple support pages there are and I have tried to get Apple to help troubleshoot the issue but they keep saying the next update will fix the issue and yet it persists.

Fixes???

1) New phone??

2) A little software hack I don't know about

Contacts are neither stored locally on an iPhone nor in SIM. They are synced to an email account that you had Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo or any Other.

What is your default Contacts account, you haven't mentioned that.

If Contacts on iCloud, try this --> Restore contacts, calendars, bookmarks and more using ...

  1. How many Contacts account (email client server) you have?
  2. What is your default Contacts Account?
  3. Which email account you are using to store Contacts?

  • This example is for Gmail but the process remains same for all Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo or any Other

Also, you have not mentioned if the iPhone has any profile installed by you or by your organisation.

Is this your corporate iPhone? Do you have any profile installed by your corporate / organisation / enterprise / School Management then please contact the system administrator of your corporate / organisation / enterprise / School Management

If you have installed it on your own --> Install or remove configuration profiles on iPhone - Apple ...
