Recovering mistakingly deleted "iTunes Library.itl" file (Bin emptied ...) ?
Hello all,
This is an example of a track path as it appears in iTunes 12.8.2.3 and I have almost the whole of my Music Library like this after having erased an important file (I think the hereabove mentioned one) :
file:///Users/cathlavender/.Trash/Music/Trust/Trst/02 Dressed For Space.mp3
No Time Machine, Bin emptied, no iCloud storage yet as I had just upgraded MAC OS X 10.6.8 into El Capitan 10.11.6 ...
I accidentally deleted this .itl file trying to clean redundant files without knowing it was a key one ...
Is there anyway I could safely recover these files ?
I've already tried to uninstall this iTunes version for an older one that would allow "iTunes Music Library.xml" but my "new" MAC OS X version wouldn't allow me to install earlier than iTunes 12.2 versions ...
Can anybody help please ? (and, forgive me if I'm a dummie ...)
Thanks,
Cath.
(maybe Mr. "turingtest2" could help ?)
