First of all, thank you for helping me out.
I need to move my iMac 27'' from my home to new office, however the distance between these two locations are pretty far. Would transporting iMac by just putting in the original box be fine? Or would there be any other solutions?

Sure if you have the original box and packing material you are not going to much better than that. Heck, it made it from China,survived the delivery company and worked when it arrived so it should be fine.

You're welcome. FWIW, if you didn't have the original packing, wrapping it in a shipping blanket or other thick blanket would work as well.
