Add/create an arrow and change it's rotation?

Baffling. I can see how to add an arrow (Insert > Shape > Arrow) and the arrow is somewhat editable. But what apparently is NOT editable, at least in any intuitive or obviously way, is where the arrow is pointing. A big fat arrow lands on the page and points to the right. How do I rotate the arrow? All the corner points edit the shape and size, absolutely nothing regarding orientation. Baffling.

Thank you

If you review the Pages Style panel for an inserted arrow shape, The default left None selector allows for one to put the arrow tip on the other end ⟵ of the of the line segment, and then disable the original ⟶ by setting the right-most selector to None. Then you can rotate the beast in the Arrange panel.
