Incompatible Big Sur Apps

Big Sur download worked fine but at least one app I use has been discarded. Is it or others now in a special folder? If so, where?

Thanks for the help.

Hello SeeNat,

It sounds like you are unable to open certain applications after upgrading to macOS Big Sur. We’d like to help however we can.

If this is a 32-bit app, you can learn more about how these apps are no longer compatible with macOS starting with macOS Catalina and continuing to macOS Big Sur:

32-bit app compatibility with macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 and later

If this is not a 32-bit app, then we would recommend using Spotlight to search for the app’s location on your Mac:

Search with Spotlight on Mac

We hope that helps!

Best wishes.
