Error 4000

I have an error code "4000" when i'm trying to update my mobile using itunes. I've tried all the solutions posted by apple but still the error appears

Error 4000 has several possible causes, but if you are using Windows with iTunes its a bug in the current version of iTunes. There are 2 workarounds:

  • Go to Settings/General/Software Update and update over the air
  • Temporarily disable your phone’s passcode before updating with Windows & iTunes
