I plan to used ethernet connection for an apple tv 4k. Currently there is no stable wifi signal in the room where the tv is located. Can iphone remote options work via biuetooth, or is there another option available?

You will be fine with the ethernet connection. The iPhone remote options will work via Bluetooth. If your iPhone connect to the Wi-Fi from that room then it will work via Wi-Fi as well. As you already know, the regular remote that come with the Apple TV will also work.
