Why didn’t my photos sync from iCloud on my new phone?
I used iCloud to backup my iPhone X, including photos, and the recover to the new iPhone 12 Pro came through, except for photos. Am I missing something?

maybe you had this set up instead of the back up Set up and use iCloud Photos - Apple Support
