How to save notes on a pdf in MacBook?

I have inserted notes and highlighting in a pdf and wish to save them as part of the MacBooks file. Advice appreciated.

Works for me to hold alt or option key. then choose File>Save as...

Question about Notes I have used a number of different text editors and word processors on my computer over the years but just recently began using Notes for short messages and so forth. Had two questions: Is there any way to save docs written in Notes to a folder on my computer or can Notes docs only be saved in the app itself such as in iOS? I know that I can export as a PDF from notes but there does not seem to be any way to save or export in any other formal. Question #2: Is there a way to adjust line spacing in notes as one can do in Pages and in many other text editors? I am using a 2018 MacBook Air running 10.14.6 and Notes 4.6. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I want to import multiple page pdfs to me notes. Only get the first page so far! My Apple notes pdf files that I have imported will not show further that the first page. Any ideas?

Can I import a PDF file into the Notes app on a Mac? Can't seem to import a PDF file into the Notes app on a Mac. Can it be done? thx
