Apple will not see this here. If you really want to see action on this problem, you must you this link to get the problem in front of an appropriate Apple employee:

We are end users like you; posting here does not fall on Apple ears.

Nearly all people have problems with the update 2020-05 and Mojave.
After this update the Mac does not work anymore.
There are only 2 solutions: either install Catalina or go back to Mojave without update 2020-05.
Because Catalina does not support 32bit software anymore I want to stay with Mojave.
Nope, it is not a question of Safe Boot or Firefox.
It is a question of the update 2020-05 for Mojave.
This kills the Mac when the update for Safari was done before.
Apple should quickly make an update for the update 2020-05.
these security updates often do not work well,
you will survive while waiting for the next "standard" update without the security update,
or you use a "Combo update" as soon as that comes available for your system level.
What I have done so far:
Reinstall of Mojave and after that installed SU 2020-05.
Result was an again running MacBook as before the desaster but the Tuxera kext extension does not start anymore.
The Tuxera company cannot help, they know already the problem with SU 2020-05.
Tuxera cannot be installed anymore. Only solutions:
Do not install SU 2020-05 or switch to Catalina (no 32bit then).
I installed Security Update 2020-05 for Mojave and it brought my MacMini down to its knees. I had to do a restore from a Time Machine to earlier that day to be able to revive my computer system. Apple needs to do better. This is a clear sign of poor quality control. Never will I trust an update from Apple again!!
I am unable to fully comprehend your question.
Is this what you are seeking: Security Update 2020-005 (Mojave)
The fiz so far has been...
Try the standalone in Safe Mode, but not using Firefox...
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/macos-mojave/id1398502828?mt=12
Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup).
So it is the right place after all to warn users with Mojave not to install the update 2020-05.
It will kill your Mac when the update for Safari 14 has been installed before.
I'd say yes. :)
The COMBO update is available. install it:
Download macOS Mojave 10.14.6 Combo Update
The Combo Update for Mojave I can see at Apple Support is outdated.
It does not include SU 2020-05.
Of course, the shabby new "security" update is not included, that is what we want, isn't it.
Yep, pays to check for troubles for a week or two after they release an update!
