Trying to update PAGES and GARAGE BAND

I have just bought a new MacBook Pro and I am updating my APPS. Two of them PAGES and GARAGE BAND won't update. I get a message saying that and it won't update "because it was purchased or refunded with a different Apple ID." Now what? It has been many years since I had a different ID and would like to get those two apps. Any help out there will be much appreciated.

You can solve this by deleting them, and reinstall them with your current apple ID.
