why won’t the software update work on my phone?

Every-time i try to update it’ll say requested to update or take long hours to estimate the time but never does .

"Update Requested" is normal - it can take several minutes for the download to begin and sometimes even longer.

If you prefer, you can update from a computer as shown in the link I posted above.
