Gridlines missing

Hi,

I was working on a Number's sheet when suddenly the grid is gone, but then under format panel I can't find "Cell" options. I must've accidentally change the format or something.

When I browsed for the solution, most of the comments suggesting to click from cell tab, which is not available.

If perhaps anyone knows what should I do so the grid will reappear :)

Ahh. It looks like you had a table in the background and somehow deleted it. I thought the gridlines you were missing were surrounding each group of circles with letters in the middle, not what you are showing now. I assume you are using it to help position things? You could try locking it with Arrange/Lock or Cmd L so you cannot accidentally select it and delete it or move it.

there's none selected, i have clicked on the table area/out of text box area but still the same. do you mean the grid on of what I'm working on? it was when the gridlines is still there, I was re-positioning a group of shape and the next thing I know the gridlines disappear without me realising what I accidentally clicked on

If nothing is selected then the stuff on the right should be settings for the sheet. It appears you were not quite in an empty spot on the sheet when you clicked.

Tables are very different from text boxes and shapes. Tables have cells arranged in a grid pattern with columns and rows. Text boxes and rectangular shapes can be arranged into a grid pattern but they are not tables; each box or shape is a separate entity. You can group text boxes together but that does not make them a table. In your latest screenshot, there is no table on Sheet 1.

To try to get back the lines around all your text boxes or shapes, select everything you want borders around then go to where it says "Border"on the right hand side in your second screenshot. You may have to ungroup everything you have grouped. The diagonal red line is indicating there are no borders around whatever you had selected. With everything selected that you want borders around (and all of them ungrouped), click on the arrow next to Border and select a border style.
