Let Apple know What you Want to Use:

1. Go Here: Feedback - macOS- Apple
2. Select: "Feature Request" for the "Feedback Type"
3. Select: "Applications/Utilities" for the "Feedback Area"
4. Proceed from there as necessary

I use iTunes to build radio programs.

Baruch - As far as playlists, music library management, etc., Music has equivalent functionality as iTunes. If there is something specific you are trying to do, pls post details.
