In Chile can I use an iphone 11 purchased in the USA?

I want to buy an iPhone 11 in the USA and then use it with my carrier in Chile. Will it work?

Is the iPhone you bought in the USA carrier-locked?

If yes, you'll need to check which carrier your iPhone is locked to. You'll need to send a request to the carrier to unlock the iPhone. This can be a time-consuming process.

If you want to save yourself some hassle, I suggest buying an iPhone that isn't carrier-locked, or buy an iPhone that supports your carrier.
