I have an MP4 movie file which I have split into clips using iMovie. I would like to share the clips but when select a clip and try share, file, it then tries to share the full MP4 file and not the clips. Can anyone help me in finding the clips or sharing each one, thank you.

As you have found, you cannot share separate clips from a multi-clip iMovie project. What you can do is select the clip, do an Edit/Copy, and then Edit/Paste the clip into a newly created project. Then you can share out the newly created project that contains only the one clip.

Select the clip first in the project timeline. Then click on Edit/Copy. Open a new project. Click on Edit/Paste.

Hi. Thanks for the info but I cannot bring up the edit/copy menu. I’ve brought up another menu but nothing saying edit/copy.
