Apple ID issues on daughters phone

My daughter has an iPhone and it is my old iPhone. It will not allow her to purchased or download apps due to a lock on the account

iPhone 7, iOS 11

If you see a message that says 'Your account has been disabled in the App Store and iTunes' - Apple Support


And you will absolutely need to be running separate Apple IDs here, or you’ll be headed for trouble with mixed messages and misrouted authentication prompts, among other issues.

What’s the specific error message or diagnostic being shown?


You’ll want to have separate Apple IDs for separate users, and then set up family sharing if that’s appropriate.

Some guesses on what might be happening here, without knowing the error you’re encountering, and without known whether unique Apple IDs are in use (as should be):

If your Apple ID is locked or disabled - Apple Support

If you see a message that says 'Your account has been disabled in the App Store and iTunes' - Apple Support
