Canon MX320 Printer Connectivity to Catalina 10.15.5

I have an older Canon MX320 printer with no air capabilities connected to a Macbook Pro running Catalina 10.15.5 using a USB A to USB C adapter.


The Canon website states that there are no drivers available and that OS should have the necessary drivers and software built in. When I attempt to print, I receive an error message that states Stopped-'Filter' failed, 1 page


I'm not sure whether a setting needs to be changed or whether there is a file or driver needed to correct this.

Try resetting the printer system according to this Apple document: If you can't print from your Mac or iOS device - Apple Support.
