unable to update

Can’t install the software because it is not currently available from the Software Update server.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.15

You don't say what update you are trying to install, so I will give you links to the most recent.

Once downloaded double-click to install.

I have the same issue. I can't install xcode-select

After executing "xcode-select --install" in command line I got a dialog window "The "xcode-select" command requires the command line developer tools. Would you like to install the tools now?" I clicked on a button "Install".


Then "License Agreement" window appears, I accepted it. Then a few seconds I saw dialog like "Find software" and after it the error message:


Can’t install the software because it is not currently available from the Software Update server.
