photos upload

I have a MacBook Air and and iPhone 11. Both have the latest operating systems. I have 200 gb of iCloud storage. When I take a picture on my phone it takes hours for it to update on my computer. How do I get it to update and add the latest pictures more quickly?

It sync automatically to your MacBook Air. Does your MacBook Air have the latest macOS? Consider restarting the computer.
