iPhone sound

I can't hear anything from my phone, and when I increase/decrease the volume, it is labeled "Headphones," even though I don't have headphones plugged in. I've tried shutting down and restarting my phone, and also tried plugging my earphones in and out, but nothing has worked. There also weren't any settings to fix it. Does anyone know how to fix this?

iPhone 6s, iOS 12

Do you have any external speakers/AirPods(or Bluetooth headphones)/AirPlay devices you are connected to?

the sound could have been channeled to those devices.
