ITunes library gone

iTunes updated and deleted all of my music and playlists except purchased items. It happens every update and I'm sick of it. I purposely never update itunes because of it but this time, I couldn't open itunes without updating it

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are unable to find some of your content in iTunes on your Windows computer. To help with this, please see if you can find and restore your iTunes Library file with the steps in this Apple resource and then contact Apple if you need any further assistance.
