Deleted contacts trying to recover

That would depend on how you are managing contacts. If you delete them from iCloud, you can check to see about recovering by logging into www.icloud.com and go to Contacts. Check settings for recovery. If you manage them on the iPhone and not iCloud, then if you have a current backup of the device that was made while the contacts were on the iPhone, try restoring to that backup to recover them.
