You cannot just trade the Watch in for a larger case, you can trade it in to purchase a larger case Watch if you wish. In other words, they cannot swap out the case for your Watch. Also realize that the Apple Watch Series 4 is no longer for sale, you would need to get a Series 3 or Series 5.
