Currently I thinking to buy MacBook Air (13-inch, 2017) so is it worth buying it ?

is Apple planning to stop providing support for it? Kindly help.

Thinking about purchasing 2017 macbook air I'm considering purchasing a 2017 macbook air from an authorized reseller because I do not have the budget for the new macbook air. My concern is that the software will become outdated within a year or two and will cause the laptop to run slowly. Any thoughts?
