Waking from sleep only with power button

Hello,

I put my MacBook Air to sleep and only went to use it the next day at night, but when I opened the lid nothing happened. The Mac didn't turn on even when I pressed the buttons or the trackpad. Neither when I plugged it in to the power cable. The only way it turned back on was when I pushed down the Touch ID/Power Button. I put it back to sleep after just to see if it happened again and it was apparently back to normal, as soon as I opened the lid it turned on. I bought the Mac only a month ago. Is it normal for this to happen?

Thank you!

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.15
