iphone xr spinning wheel

My iphon xr has the spinning wheel and will not turn off or go to the home screen.

Try this first: Plug your iPhone into your PC or Mac and open iTunes. Click "Backup". Let that run. After that is done. Click "Restore". This will WIPE everything from the iPhone and restore it back to the newest version of iOS factory clean. After that, you can Restore your backup onto the device which will put all your stuff back on there. See if that works.


IF THE ABOVE IS IMPOSSIBLE, your solution is below.

Try to put your iPhone into something called "DFU mode" (instructions below) and Restore again through iTunes.

The MacBooks and Music app does not detect this iPhone XR even while the spinning wheel on black screen is in motion. it detects my other iPhone but not this one which is does not even respond to the DFU button sequence. The only thing it responds to is switching screen on and off with the right hand size button and making alarm noises is this is pressed together with volume down. So distressed now
